My husband was supposed to fly home yesterday from OH.
Instead he had to rent a car and drive; not an easy task between the military
check points and the road closures into the city.
He made it home late list night in a little over 10 hours.
At our exit off the highway the police and military were checking ID's.
If you didn't live in the area, you were turned away.
Part of the problem is we live so close to both major airports, Kennedy and
LaGuardia. Thankfully, we are all together.
